In November, President Ken Gormley hosted a campus open forum to discuss progress on Duquesne’s 2018-2023 strategic plan, Re-Imagining Duquesne’s Spiritan Legacy for a New Era.
As the forum presentations for both faculty and students made clear, the University has made progress since adopting the plan on each of the five strategic imperatives on which it was built.
The Strategic Plan website, duq.edu/strategicplan, includes highlights from those discussions, as well as other information on gains made. Once on the website, select one of the Five Strategic Imperatives on the right-hand side to see the progress on each.
The Plan, oriented around “the best interests of our students as the polestar of all decision making,” remains relevant even as the University faces the challenges of this moment.
The Strategic Plan website will continue to be updated to reflect additional progress so that the campus community has a sense of the work that many are doing to advance Duquesne.
